Terms of Use
Site & Service Terms
How this website and the firm's online services work — booking, text messages, payments, and your rights.
SMS Messaging Program
When you provide a phone number on the booking form, you consent to receive SMS text messages from C. Lemon Law related to your booking. Specifically: a booking confirmation and reminders before your scheduled consultation. Up to 3 messages per booking.
Messages are transactional — we do not send marketing SMS. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe; reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS does not cancel your scheduled consultation — use the link in your confirmation email to cancel or reschedule.
For questions about the SMS program, contact us at [email protected]. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle phone numbers and other contact information.
Booking & Cancellation
When you book a consultation through this website, you reserve a specific time slot on Clyde L. Lemon, Esq.'s calendar. You will receive a confirmation email with a Microsoft Teams meeting link and a self-service link to reschedule or cancel.
Cancellations and reschedules. You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled time, using the link in your confirmation email. Within 24 hours of the appointment, paid consultation fees are non-refundable.
No-shows. If you do not join the consultation within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, the consultation is marked complete and any paid fee is retained.
Refunds. If we need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no charge — your choice. If a technical failure on our end prevents the consultation (Teams link doesn't connect, server outage, etc.) you will receive a full refund and may book a replacement consultation at no charge.
Refunds for paid consultations are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation. Specifically, you agree not to: probe for or exploit security vulnerabilities; scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data in bulk; submit content that is unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent; or attempt to impersonate another person when booking, signing up for the newsletter, or contacting the firm.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking or block any visitor we reasonably suspect of misusing the site.

No Attorney-Client Relationship
Booking a consultation, sending a message through the contact form, or subscribing to the newsletter does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. The relationship is formed only when both parties sign a written engagement agreement. See our Disclaimer for the full set of advisory notices.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from your use of this website that is not subject to the firm's separate written engagement agreement shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the website or messaging program evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page; your continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are effective as of the date this page was last published and apply to your use of www.clemonlaw.com. For information about how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
